WEEKS AND THEMES
June 5 - 9
Leave It Better Than You Found It
Summer kicks off with a solid foundation of the 7 Leave No Trace principles. Campers will develop a deeper appreciation for the forests, waterways, and wildlife of Northern Minnesota through collaborative respect-based exploration and discovery.
June 12 - 16
Northwoods Survivor
Could you survive if you were stranded in the woods? After this week, our brave adventurers surely should! Fire building, orienteering, and camp cooking are a few of the entries on our survival "to-do" checklist. We'll learn the skills needed to make your next family camp trip seem like a walk in the park.
June 20 - 23 (Closed June 19)
Rock On
Duluth has a deeply layered and rich geological history. Our rugged explorers will discover the magic of how the landscape was shaped through glacial movements, lava, water, and the treasure-trove of deposits and sediments left behind.
June 26 - 30
Wildlife Expedition
Bears, birds, and beavers! Oh my! Strap on the binoculars and tighten your pack, we're headed out on a wildlife safari right here in our own backyard. Campers on this week's journey will get an up-close glimpse of who our wildlife neighbors really are.
July 5 - 7 (Closed July 3, 4)
Creative Crafters
Budding artists will bloom among all things arts and crafts... with a special nature twist. Our outdoor environment will double as art supply store this week for weaving projects, sun prints, and homemade pigments. After this short week, your refrigerator door will never have looked better!
July 10 - 14
Buggin' Out
Have you ever wondered about the mysterious miniature world of insects and bugs? We'll settle down into the dirt to get an up-close look at how pollinators, decomposers, spiders, and all of those little critters in between are critical in helping our world go 'round.
July 17 - 21
Base to Branch
From the tips of the treetops to the mycelium beneath the dirt, our forest hides wondrous details to behold! Campers will be enchanted by the magic of trees, fungi, wildflowers, and all of the treasures in between. Let's explore the ways trees and plants are critically woven into our ecosystems.
July 24 - 28
Follow the Tracks
What can we find in the dirt? Tracks, scat, dens, and bones?! Calling all super-sleuths! We're going to wear our spyglasses, pay close attention, and uncover the mysteries that are hiding beneath our feet.
July 31 - August 4
Splish Splash
Don't be afraid to get wet this week as we embark on a journey through our very own Brewery Creek. Campers will wade through the knowledge of the great water cycle, puddle stomp among the trees, and splash a few creek critters along the way. Who knows... a little bit of water balloon fun might even sprinkle our day!
August 7 - 11
Awesome Adventure
As this magnificent summer of exploration comes to a close, we'll embrace a solid week of the most awesome adventures! Biking, hiking, team challenges, and more! Join us for one last summertime "hoorah!" before the leaves, sticks, and rocks in our packs are replaced with books, pencils, and pink erasers.

MARSHALL WINTER SKI CAMP 2023
Marshall Ski Camp is an annual lesson-based experience supervised by the Marshall Nordic Ski Team Coaching Staff. Instruction is provided by the members of Marshall Nordic Ski Team and Alumni.
On the first day, students are placed in small groups based on age and ability, and are assigned instructors who will work with them the entire camp. The instruction is thorough and nurturing, taking skiing students to the "next level" regardless of where they start out.
Rental equipment, sledding, bonfires with marshmallows, crafts, hot chocolate, and snacks are all included in the fun!
