Payment System
Marshall School is excited to again offer the healthy daily lunch options along with discounted meal plans for the coming school year. The healthy lunch options include a daily choice of the hot lunch, soup and sandwich, or soup and salad bar (dependent on covid restrictions); all for the same price. Vegetables are offered daily with the hot lunch as well as a daily vegetarian option. While a la carte items are still available for individuals looking for other choices, the lunch program ensures a balanced, nutritious lunch option every day.
2021/2022 Pricing & Options:
Grades 4-8
Daily: $5.00
Meal Plan: $675 annually (a 18% savings or $4.12/day)
Grades 9-12
Daily: $5.50
Meal Plan: $750 annually (a 17% savings or $4.57/day)
Meal Plans:
The meal plan payment option ensures a healthy lunch every school day. Meal plans are discounted to keep the cost of the lunch program reasonable for families and will not be refunded or carried over into the next school year. Payments for the annual plan are due before the first day of school and can be made using cash, check or credit card. Please include the Family ID Number on all checks/payments. Your Family ID number is listed on the Important Student Number Sheet in the Back to School Night packet.
Family Accounts:
Payments for daily meals, community time purchases and a la carte purchases will remain the same. Deposits can be made into the family account and the account balance is reduced as consumed. Any balances in the family accounts at the end of the year will be carried over to into the next school year or refunded.
Payments for family accounts can be made through your wordware/efunds account. If you do not have a wordware/efunds account, please see instructions for account set up.
- Families are asked to pay in advance for school lunches. Students are responsible for and are encouraged to check their lunch accounts on a regular basis with the dining services staff.
- Daily limits are set on students’ lunch accounts. If you would like to adjust the daily limit on your student’s account, please contact Cheryl Plante, Director of Food Service, at 218-727-7266 ext. 116 or email cheryl.plante@marshallschool.org. Students are not able to change the limit.
- Grades 4-8 limit is $6.00 per day
- Grades 9-12 limit is $15.00 per day

Wordware/efunds Online Payment System Set up
You will use the Parent Portal in Powerschool to view lunch account information and payments. Once you have set up your portal account, follow these steps:
1. Click on the lunch Payment icon on the left side.
2. Click on the orange fork & knife icon to make payments.
3. You will be redirected to the Wordware account creation site. Fill in the appropriate information and accept the terms and conditions.
4. Click on the Family Accounts tab and remember the Family ID (not the family account ID). You will need this for registering efunds.
5. To make a payment, click on the “Add Funds” link. You will be redirected to efunds for schools.
You will need to create an efunds account and link your family account or student accounts. Click on the “New Users Register Here” link. Use the Family ID to link your accounts to efunds. nt.
