Counseling & Health Services

Health Office

Marshall’s health office is staffed by a registered nurse Monday through Friday, from 8-3 pm. Marshall’s nurse manages the distribution of medication during the school day, sees students who become ill or injured, and manages the immunizations and general health of the Marshall community. The Health Office works closely with the St. Louis County Department of Public Health to recommend health-related policies to Marshall Administration.

Allison Heeren
School Nurse

Greetings!  I have been a Registered Nurse for 20 years working in the hospitals, schools, summer camps and in county public health. I believe this variety of service well suits me to care for the diverse needs of our Marshall student population!   Fun fact:  I am a dual citizen!  Born and raised in Canada from American parents.  I now live happily in Duluth, MN with my husband and two high school aged kids.

Counseling and Mental Health Services

Marshall School’s counseling staff are present daily to support students experiencing stress, anxiety, or other issues that are impacting a child’s well-being and engagement. Counselors are available daily by drop-in visit, or by appointment.
