School Supplies
Middle School
Students will spend the first few days of the year getting their supplies organized, so it is helpful for students to have the supplies in the link above by the first days of school. This list may not be all-inclusive and other supplies may be needed during the school year (poster board for projects, additional paper, extra pencils, etc.) For questions about the supply list, contact Karen Snyder, Middle School Principal at ksnyder@marshallschool.org.
- All middle school students will be provided with a student planner.
- 8th graders are expected to have a laptop each day. Both PC and Mac platforms are acceptable. Students should choose a laptop they are most comfortable and familiar with to optimize success. Students will need internet access at home. Questions about technology needs can be sent to Director of Technology, tlockhart@marshallschool.org
Upper school students are asked to use an organizational system that works to support their academic success. All upper school students must have a laptop to use daily and are encouraged to choose a laptop that they are most comfortable and familiar with to optimize their success. Students will need internet access at home. Students must also have paper and pencil/pens with them daily.
Bussing Request
Bussing is provided to students who live within the Duluth Public Schools boundaries. If you would like your child to ride the bus to and/or from school, please email Karen Snyder at ksnyder@marshallschool.org. Schedules are released the week before bussing begins. Bussing begins on September 7.
Fall Athletic Information
The official opening day for fall athletics is Monday, August 16. Parents must register students through rSchool before participating - during registration they will sign into their family account, verify contact and update health information, and take care of participation fees. The registration portal will be active the week of July 19.
All student athletes need to have a valid ImPACT baseline test on file. Students who need a test will receive information after registration.
Questions, please email - athletics@marshallschool.org
