Dear Families,
With three weeks of school under our belt, it feels like everyone has settled in to the school year. The 3-day Labor Day weekend was a welcomed respite for many to recharge.
#ToppersTogether,
PARENT COFFEES
Join the principals and class deans for Virtual Parent Coffees by Zoom this week. We will present some of the new academic approaches of blended learning that will help us pivot to and from distance learning should the need arise. Grade level groups will then break out with class deans for a more specific grade level conversation.

Should I send my child to school? If in doubt: Because you know your child best, keep them home and monitor their symptoms. Students will be sent home if they present with the above symptoms and may be directed to quarantine.
MDH HOME SCREENING TOOL The Minnesota Department of Health has released a new screening tool to use with your children at home when deciding to send your child to school. The Home Screening Tool for COVID-19 is a decision tree with defined responses related to sending your child to school or keeping them home. We will align the CrisisGo Family Health Check with this decision tree.
FLU SHOT CLINIC FOR STUDENTS Walgreens will be on campus, Thursday, October 1st, for those families who would like their Marshall student to receive the flu vaccine. Students will be scheduled by appointment and receive the vaccine during the school day. This year the clinic is only offered to our students and employees. Read through the What You Need to Know information provided by Walgreens.
In order for your student to receive a time slot, submit the Community Off-Site Vaccine Administration Record (VAR) and payment (insurance form or cash/check) to the Health Office by Friday, September 25th. No forms will be accepted after this date.
Payment options:
*Most insurance providers cover the flu vaccine, however, if insurance does not cover the entire amount after the claim is submitted you will receive a phone call from Walgreens informing of your portion owed.
