Guiding Principles

There are four main guiding principles to the Forest School at Marshall.

  1. Engage in a brain-based curriculum that builds foundations for success.
  2. Create lifelong connections to Earth and each other.
  3. Learn through curiosity and discovery.
  4. Develop holistic learners who demonstrate compassion, resilience, and self-worth.

These guiding principles are embedded and at the core of the curriculum taught in the Forest school.
