Scott Kylander-Johnson
Biography
Mr. K-J has taught English at the Marshall Middle School since 1996-97. He has always worked with sixth grade students, and since 2003, he's been fortunate to teach English to fifth grade students. At the start of his Marshall teaching career, he coached varsity cross-country running, Nordic skiing, alpine skiing, and track and field. Mr. K-J decided to stop coaching when he started his master's degree in education at St. Mary's University in Winona, MN. He completed his master's degree in 2002.
Scott has been married for seven years to Sara K-J and they have two Siamese cats named Bartleby and Kissa.
Hobbies
Mr. K-J is an avid mountain bike competitor. He spends the summer months traveling around the country with his wife Sara competing in multiple events. During the winter months, he enjoys Nordic skiing and snowboarding.
When not exercising, he can be found reading multiple books at the same time.
