As an independent college-preparatory school, Marshall relies upon the philanthropy of our Hilltopper community – parents (past and present), grandparents, alumnae/i, businesses, foundations, and friends – for support of our academic and co-curricular programs .

Tuition alone does not cover the true cost of a Hilltopper education, every Marshall student benefits from the generosity of others. Contributions provide the extra margin of excellence that makes the Hilltopper experience the best it can be for our students.

All gifts, large and small, make a difference. There is a strong correlation between the most highly regarded private schools and the giving rate that each school enjoys. Another critical dimension to our giving profile is that foundations often require information regarding the participation of alumni, faculty, trustees and most importantly, parents who are donors.
