Marshall Upper School will open its 2012-2013 theater season with Agatha Christie’s murder mystery, The Mousetrap. Directed by Lois C. K. O’Leary, the cast and crew include students from middle and high school.
The Mousetrap is about a group of strangers stranded in a boarding house during a snowstorm, one of whom is a murderer. The suspects include the newly married couple who run the house, and the suspicions that are in their minds nearly wreck their perfect marriage. Other interesting boarders include a spinster with a curious background, an architect who seems better equipped to be a chef, a retired Army major, a strange women who claims her car has overturned in a drift, and a jurist who makes life miserable for everyone. Into their midst comes a policeman. Shortly after his arrival, the murderer strikes. Somewhere in the house someone is playing the old nursery rhyme, Three Blind Mice. Two down, and one to go. Who will it be?
Production dates are November 2nd at 7 pm, November 3rd at 7 pm and November 4th at 2 pm. All productions will be at Marshall School in the Fregeau Auditorium.
