Marshall outbound programs
In addition to enrolling over 20 international students from around the world as full-time students, Marshall is also committed to creating opportunities for Marshall students and faculty to experience other cultures firsthand by traveling abroad. Marshall has a long-standing student exchange partnership in Sigmaringen, Germany, and with the Dyrzhavensky Lyceum in Petrosovodsk, Russia. In addition, Marshall students are able to travel every other year on foreign language trips which provide cultural and language immersion experiences.
In the fall of 2011, Marshall announced the opportunity for students to spend an academic term abroad at the American School of Brasilia, located in Brasilia, Brazil. For this particular program, sophmore and junior level students are able to spend a semester abroad (fall or spring), or participate in a three week exchange with Marshall students visiting the school in August, and Brazilian students visiting Marshall in January. In 2012-13 Marshall introduced a new outbound program - a semester abroad program at the Dalat International School, located in Penang, Malaysia. Please click here for more information on the Dalat program.
Marshall also participates annually in a faculty exchange program with the American School of Bombay, located in Mumbai, India, sending and receiving visiting faculty for several weeks at a time to team teach and exchange knowledge between schools.
